1. Do a "bootstrap" usability audit - Walk through the product or site screens as a user would, do the most common tasks and actions your users do in your product. Note all the things that don't work as smoothly as you'd like. Add those fixes to your 2010 plan.

2. Plan a usability "release" - Put a placeholder on the roadmap or release schedule for 2010 where usability enhancements will be a key part of the release (You don't have to know what the changes are yet). Having a placeholder helps drive the planning for usability.
